After a long, cold winter in Iowa, we’re definitely ready for some warm weather and summer fun! Now that school is out we’re hitting the road for some fun family friendly travel and one of our favorite locations to go here in the Midwest is in Kansas City. Over the next few days I’ll be sharing some of our favorite Kansas City family attractions and one that we visited last weekend is sure to make a splash with your family is Schlitterbahn Water Park!
One of several super cool, world class water park destinations, Schlitterbahn has become known for being an AMAZING water experience for families. The Kansas City park has a the Storm Blaster-a Master Blaster™ uphill water coaster, four tubing slides and chutes, two tubing rivers including the world’s longest tidal wave river, 13 mini slides for kids, three relaxing beaches and a giant hot tub with a swim-up refreshment bar. The latest attraction is the all new Verruckt which is the tallest water slide in the world.
We’ve had the fun opportunity to visit Schlitterbahn in the past, so we were thrilled to go back and visit again. If you haven’t been to a Schlitterbahn Water Resort before, here’s what you need to know!
